The ENOUGH Act

Yardley Hills Community Initiative

The Yardley Hills Community Initiative is part of a larger statewide effort to support communities across Maryland. This work is made possible through the ENOUGH Act—short for Engaging Neighborhoods, Organizations, Unions, Governments, and Households—a  signed by Governor Wes Moore in 2024. The ENOUGH Initiative is Maryland’s first state-led, place-based strategy to reduce child poverty and strengthen economic opportunity by putting residents at the center of change.

With grant funding from the Governor's Office and in partnership with Yardley Hills residents and local organizations. Together, we are:

  • Supporting resident leadership through the development of a Resident Advisory Council (RAC)

  • Strengthening partnerships between neighbors and service providers

  • Hosting community meetings and listening sessions to ensure Resident voice is heard

  • Promoting access to programs that align with community priorities—like youth development, safety, education, and family support
