Volunteer

The Linda L. Kelley Animal Shelter graciously welcomes volunteers, as we understand and value their commitment to our cause. Dedicated volunteers are able to make a positive difference for so many animals’ lives by providing enrichment, basic care, love and ultimately aiding in finding their forever home!

Requirements

Volunteers at the Linda L. Kelley Animal Shelter are required to:

Be at least 18 years or older
Donate at least seven hours of time every month
Read, understand and agree to the Volunteer Policies and Procedures (Handbook)
Occasionally experience long periods of standing, lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds and interacting with the public
