PUBLIC NOTICE:

The next scheduled meeting is Wednesday, February 18, 2026 @ 10:00 am. The meeting is open to the public via live stream and in-person. The meeting is held at 30 Duke St., first floor, Duke Room at the Community Resources Building in Prince Frederick. This is a new meeting location but inside the same building.

At its November 19th, 10:00 am meeting, the Calvert County Board of Elections approved the 2026 Election Plan with changes that include:

  1. Changing the location for election day voting for the Dunkirk area of 3-6 and 3-7 from Northern High School at 2950 Chaneyville Rd, Owings to Ward Farm Park, 10455 Ward Rd, Dunkirk.
  2. Changing the precinct boundaries of 3-6 and 3-7 to combine into one precinct (3-6).

Beginning in June 2025, the Calvert County Board of Elections began recording the livestream video of its meetings. Videos and meeting materials are available at the link below. Please note that videos may start recording before the meeting begins and show only a black screen with "Calvert County Election Board". You may fast forward through this section.

Pursuant to §3.2 of the Board’s bylaws, public participation at a meeting must be pre-scheduled and pre-approved by the Board President. To obtain approval to speak at a Board Meeting, please contact Kristen Scott at 410-535-2214 x 4 or by email Kristen.scott@calvertcountymd.gov no later than 4:00pm the day before the meeting or written comments may be sent to elections@calvertcountmd.gov also by 4:00pm the day before the meeting.
