The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners hereby gives notice of execution of Option granted by Cove Point LNG, LP, f/k/a Dominion Cove Point, LP, a Delaware limited partnership to purchase real properties and improvements located at 12025 HG Trueman Road, Lusby, MD to enable the Solomons Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Department to be more centrally located within their response area.  The County has paid $50,000 for this Option, which will be credited against the purchase price of $920,000.

The Board of County Commissioners of Calvert County gives further notice it will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in the Commissioners Hearing Room, 175 Main Street, Prince Frederick, Maryland 20678. The Public Hearing time, date, and location may be revised by announcement of an emergency, such as inclement weather, without further publication and may be confirmed on the County website, or calling any number listed below on the date of the Hearing. At the Hearing, the Board will consider and receive comments regarding the exercise the foregoing Option.
