The Calvert County Board of Appeals has scheduled the following cases for public hearing at times listed below on January 5, 2023. This hearing will be conducted via Zoom videoconference. Scheduled Cases begin at 9:00 a.m. with a tentative lunch break from 12:00-1:00 p.m.: 

• Case 22-4133: David & Barbara Cornwell have applied for a Variance to reduce the front setback from 25’ to 8’ at the smallest point to construct a 15’ x 24’ carport. The subject property, located at 2516 Hillside Drive, Huntingtown (Tax Map 18, Parcel 78, Lot 1), is zoned Rural Community District (RCD). 
• Case 22-4134: James & Shauna Anderson have applied for a Variance to reduce the front setback from 60’ to 30’ to construct a 36’ x 36’ pole barn with 8’ x 12’ lean to on one end and 12’ extension of gable to the other end. The subject property, located at 7721 N Flint Hill Road, Owings (Tax Map 10, Parcel 182, Lot 4), is zoned Farm and Forest District (FFD).
