Overview

The Technical Evaluation Group (TEG) review of site plans and the Subdivision Evaluation Group (SEG) review of subdivisions ensures that proposed and existing commercial development complies with all County ordinances and State regulations. The TEG/SEG members review and provide comments on proposed site plans, revisions to commercial site plans, proposed subdivisions, and existing subdivisions, within the time guidelines of the Site Plan and Subdivision Process Chart. TEG reviews include landscaping and multifamily projects.

Meetings

Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month, except for November and December (due to the holidays), and may be adjusted as needed. The meetings begin at 9:00 a.m. and, until further notice, will be held virtually via Zoom. Members

Members who participate in the review of proposed site plans include staff from the Department of Planning & Zoning, the Department of Economic Development, the Department of Public Works, the Department of Public Safety, the Soil Conservation District, the Department of Environmental Health, the Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative and the Maryland State Highway Administration.
